F440E/F450E

1.90-m (6.2-ft) pickup (1.79-m [5.9-ft] DIN)

The F440E and F450E can have two different pickup settings:

A narrow 1.50-m (4.9-ft) model (1.38-m [4.5-ft] DIN) without converging augers, designed for small windrows. The pickup is hydraulically raised from the cab as standard equipment.

A wide 1.90-m (6.2-ft) pickup (1.79-m [5.8-ft] DIN) designed to fit larger farm needs. The two converging augers feed the bale chamber and provide quality bale shape. This pickup is also hydraulically raised from the cab.

The F400E Series pickup is made of galvanised strippers for extended lifespan and four tine bars for high-capacity picking

Depending on crop type, the operator may need to change bale density. This setting can be complicated and inaccurate, but the F400E Series can provide it in a matter of seconds without tools.

A knob located on the pressure manometer at the front of the baler allows accurate adjustment of the density. When the bale reaches the target pressure, a signal from the control box is audible at the work site. This signals the operator to start the tying process and stop the baler.

The precise setting and process allow the bales to maintain the same density and diameter, making bale storage more manageable. To keep the baling process continuous, the manometer is visible from both the cab and the platform.

F450E conveyor system

The F450E Baler is designed for small-farm operators who mainly bale straw or hay. A bale chamber made of rolls is often not the best solution for these crops. Hot forage can glide on the steel rolls, causing the bale to stop rotating and the baler to plug.

The F450E features a full-conveyor system, a perfect solution for dry crops. The produced bales are 1.20 m (3.9 ft) wide by a 1.5-m (4.9-ft) diameter.

Forty-one slats (35-mm [1.4-in.] diameter) firmly grip straw or hay to provide continuous bale rotation, regardless of conditions. Chain-drive, two-ribbed bottom rolls grip the bale to fill the chamber and to begin the baling process effectively.
