What sets this product apart.
Cover more hectares with greater precision and uniformity using the ExactApply™ system
Crop protection products are too expensive to waste, and seeds are too valuable to risk or subject to insufficient treatment. To help ensure your solution reaches the crop at the desired rate and droplet size across a wide range of speeds, you can rely on the ExactApply™ nozzle control system.
The core of the ExactApply™ system is a six-nozzle turret with different operating modes that help maintain the desired dose and pressure. From the cab, operators can select the following:
The 30 Hz pulse duration modulation , which activates two solenoids for more uniform pressure and droplet size across a wide range of feed rates and dosages.
The A/B automatic selection mode , which automatically switches between two nozzles to maintain a constant spray pressure during a conventional application.
The rotation compensation mode , which reduces the spray ratio on the inside of the rotation and increases it on the outside, to ensure uniform application across the entire width of the spray bar.
Individual nozzle control, which minimises overlaps by controlling the application at the individual nozzle level, not at the section widths of 2.03 m to 4.57 m.
By maintaining the desired dose and pressure across a wide range of speeds, ExactApply™ allows you to cover up to 5.8 ha more per hour* (based on a 4.7 km/h increase in operating speed) with more uniform spray deposition, so you can save inputs and preserve more crop yield potential.
Achieve savings and protect crops with individual nozzle control
Individual nozzle control ensures efficient, localised application of plant protection products. Save up to 5 percent on plant protection products (up to 110.40 BRL per hectare*). The electronic control system reaches its full potential when combined with the functionality of the pressure recirculation spraying system with product recovery.
Costs are reduced by minimising overlaps and omissions in the application
Precision in spray application
Pressure recirculation and product recovery are permitted.
Easy and convenient, from the entire spray bar to the control of individual nozzles
Greater application efficiency with Pro individual nozzle control
Section control is a foundational precision agriculture technology. Thanks to its use, growers worldwide have benefited from reduced application costs and overspray. Building on this, the John Deere team created Individual Nozzle Control Pro, which allows growers with M4000 sprayers to achieve greater input cost savings and increased application efficiency through improved spray quality.
Key features of Individual Nozzle Control Pro include the following:
Individual nozzle control
The 15 Hz pulse-width modulation (PWM) provides precision and uniformity in the application.
Rotation compensation is permitted by means of individual nozzle pulses and 15 Hz
The droplet size remains the same during application, even with variations in forward speed.
Over-application, crop burns, and target drift are reduced.
Compatible with pressure recirculation and product recovery*
The Pro Individual Nozzle Control is designed for the traditional and larger-scale grower looking to upgrade their existing sprayer with nozzle functionality. Reduced section size and swivel compensation are key features growers should consider.
*NOTE: With the Pro Individual Nozzle Control and pressure recirculation in the spray boom, the nozzle turrets at the ends of the spray tubes accommodate only two spray tips. The nozzle turrets in other areas still accommodate up to five spray tips.
Product savings through recirculation and product recovery
Application quality is crucial. Keep the solution in suspension in the spray boom and system while the machinery is running and not spraying, using pressure recirculation. Recirculation during rinsing removes all chemical drift from the suspension during spraying, resulting in a higher velocity of the rinse water in the spray tube. The rinse water can be recirculated multiple times to better clean the spray tubes and reduce cleaning time. Pressure recirculation of the spray boom mixes the solution and primes the boom before spraying, ensuring a homogeneous chemical mixture throughout the solution system, right up to the nozzle tip. This recirculation improves spray quality and reduces initial operating time.
Cost savings
Savings of up to 38 litres of chemicals each time the operator uses the cleaning system or performs a changeover
These features allow for valuable savings in time, products, and costs during rinsing and preparation of the spray bar when changing solutions.
Recover costly crop protection solutions between applications or reduce field maintenance expenses thanks to product recovery
Potentially reduce crop damage from the accumulation of residual chemicals
Performance:
Experience the even distribution of the product across the entire spray bar
Reduce nozzle clogging with increased product agitation in the solution system
Prevent buildup in pipes by keeping the solution moving with pressure recirculation, along with product recovery and air purging of the spray boom.
Achieve improved spray bar rinsing characteristics and, at the same time, reduced exposure during nozzle body maintenance.
Achieve savings on chemicals and enable easier collection of rinse water between rinses when operators are not spraying from the spray boom in the field.
Maximize the efficiency of the rinsing system with the spray bar air purge
An optional cleaning feature, known as spray bar air purge, forces air through the bar to help clear the solution tubing during product changes. When activated on the CommandCenter™ 4600 monitor, air from the integrated air reservoir is routed to the bars to purge any excess water or product from the nozzles.
Use spray bar air purge for the following:
Extract the solution from the spray bar without performing rinsing procedures
Maximise the efficiency of the rinsing system
The solution system components must still be rinsed with water to prevent crop damage, chemical contamination, and damage to the machinery. Refer to the operator's manual for further details.
