Energy-Saving Technology
In terms of the powertrain, the Chenglong HK is equipped with the highly regarded Cummins Z Series engine and the Winning ECE12 AMT integrated powertrain. This system includes intelligent electronic control development based on driving scenarios and power system analysis using big data. Predictive cruise control and predictive shifting can be optionally equipped to optimise fuel consumption by more than 3%. The engine delivers maximum torque at 900 rpm and maintains economical speed ranges of 80-100 km/h, aligning perfectly with its reputation as an efficiency king in logistics. The engine is paired with the Eaton ECE 12 transmission, an integrated aluminium-shell AMT featuring an overdrive gear. The first gear ratio is 14.43, and the highest gear ratio is 0.77. The Cummins integrated international powertrain combines the engine and transmission with shared data, improving fuel economy and the driving experience.
Lightweight Design
Scientific lightweighting is a leading technology of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor's Chenglong brand. Last year's Chenglong H5V model showcased an impressive kerb weight of just 7.38 tons. The Chenglong HK also excels in this area, using aluminium alloy rear crossbeams, integrated castings to reduce the number of parts, and lightweight hanger end brackets. These innovations achieve a 500 kg weight reduction while increasing strength by 10%, enhancing fuel economy and single-trip efficiency.
Comfortable Cabin
The Chenglong HK cabin offers a luxurious and intelligent experience. Upon opening the door, the Grammer air suspension seat with various adjustment options becomes immediately noticeable. This seat allows for adjustments in forward-backwards, up-down, tilt angle, and lumbar support, and is equipped with seat ventilation and heating functions, ensuring comfort for drivers in both winter and summer conditions.
